Community Service
After returning to my post, I pondered the discussion and thought at least I could help them with what I have, i.e., Knowledge. I can teach them and, at the same time, guide them.
Thus, I started my journey as a "volunteer teacher."
I am a firm believer in Knowledge. Education is the solution to many social evils. The passion for community service I picked in 2015 remained with me, and I continued with that in whatever way I could.
OUR LAND, OUR LIVES AND OUR DESTINY
"This story takes inspiration from an original incident. Back in 2015, I was posted as a young Major in the borderlands of Manipur where I witnessed for the first time how powerful and cruel nature can be. In a fraction of a second, a complete village disappeared from the face of earth engulfing twenty poor souls with them, all sleeping when this calamity stuck. Who is to blame nature or us? Read on to understand the same. This story also encompasses some of my observations of the area, demography, and practices. Anyone who love North-East India or are from those beautiful hills or have been there for quite some time will certainly relate with this story.
A BABBLING SOLDIER: LESSONS FROM ARMY VALUES

Loyalty, duty, integrity, respect, service, honor, and courage are words that are extensively used these days as traits of an outstanding leader, but military service gives meaning to these words.
Do we really understand Gandhi / Nehru/ Patel or Savarkar? Or bashing old bastions is a fashion. I am up for criticism, but we must understand them before criticizing. So, reading is the solution. Majority of us including me do not understand much about our freedom struggle. Link
